وجاءت تعليقات الجماهير الناشطة على شبكة التواصل الاجتماعي “تويتر” كما يلي :
منتخب أنكلترا بدون سترلينغ حصد ثلاثة نقاط.. منتخب الجزائر مع محرز حصد 3 نقاط أيضا.. لا يوجد ستيرلنغ لا يوجد بكاء”.
