The Independent National Electoral Authority (INEA) announced on Monday that the TV debate between the five candidates for the Presidential Elections of December 12 will be aired next Friday.
IENA’s Media Speaker, Ali Daraa, told journalists that the date of the TV debate between the presidential candidates was set for next Friday, adding that more details about the events of this television debate (timing, duration, broadcast, show hosts) will be disclosed later.
This debate was approved by the President of the Independent National Electoral Authority, Mohamed Chorfi, in agreement with all candidates who have expressed their consent to participate.
Previously, Rachid Bardane, a member of the INEA told the media on Sunday that preparations for the TV debate were being prepared soberly, adding that “such debates would enable the citizen to get a closer look at the election programs and know exactly what each candidate has to offer in an accurate manner”.
